After working 24 years in the helicopter industry, recently as General Manager in a maintenance and customizing/completion facility, I established United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS)
The new company was formed in 2005 to meet the growing demand for high quality, on time and on budget systems integration and maintenance for the helicopter industry. Customer service, support and satisfaction are the priority
URS is proud to offer aircraft completions and refurbishment services, systems integration, maintenance, component overhaul, customized interior installations and unsurpassed exterior finishing.
We also offer FAA certified Night Vision compatible cockpit lighting and offer STC's for a wide variety of aircraft. Along with these systems we provide Night Vision Goggles and Goggle maintenance.
These services are provided for all segments of the Helicopter industry- Air Medical, Law Enforcement, Special Mission, Corporate and Utility.
United Rotorcraft has a team of factory trained, experienced technicians and engineers with experience to meet the specifications for any mission requirements.
Our in house Drafting (Catia V5, Auto Cad 2006), Engineering, machine shop, paint and interior capabilities reduce cost.
URS is an FAA Approved Repair Station, an American Eurocopter Approved Vendor, an Air Methods Preferred Completion Center and we were recently approved as an official DOD contractor. Our superior quality control meets or exceeds the industry standards and we have a solid working relationship with the FAA Rotorcraft Directorate.
Situated at the Decatur Municipal Airport in Decatur Texas, just west of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, URS is conveniently located to both Bell Helicopter and American Eurocopter
