In our Englewood, CO, Mesa, AZ and West Mifflin, PA facilities, our OEM-trained employees have the skills, training, and experience necessary to repair, modify, and maintain our customer’s aircraft. We integrate and install OEM and after-market flight controls, avionics, radios, and lighting.
We design, integrate and install medical equipment, avionics, and vehicle accessories for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Firefighting, Airborne Law Enforcement (ALE) and Search and Rescue (SAR) operators. United Rotorcraft manufactures many of its products under a Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) and installs these parts at our FAA Repair Station Licensed facilities with certified technicians that are A&P mechanics, IA, or DARs.Our civilian aviation authority approvals include FAA and EASA STCs as well as international validations with foreign airworthiness authorities including ANAC, CAAC, EASA, and JCAB. United Rotorcraft utilizes the Air Methods Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) that holds over 200 STCs for both rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft. Having access to an in-house ODA allows for nominal FAA involvement, speeding up the certification process. United Rotorcraft also qualifies to military specifications and standards for air and ground vehicles and holds a number of AWR approvals with the US Military.
From the start of a new contract, each aircraft is assigned a program manager who oversees the project. The program manager is responsible for maintaining the schedule and budget until the aircraft is formally delivered to the customer. Following delivery, a team of customer support managers provide comprehensive training (if desired) to the customers on how to safely operate the equipment installed in the aircraft. This team of dedicated individuals are available for parts or service requests long after the aircraft leaves our facility and an AOG line can be contacted 24/7 in case of a parts or service emergency.
